Ross McDermott is a photographer living in Charlottesville, VA.  His experience with design, building, and photography can be traced back to his education in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute.  It was there that he was taught to see and study the world in regards to form, composition, and color. Over the years, Ross has worked as a photographer and a builder for a local design+build firm.  His interests include both photography and video projects for architects, interior designers, builders, architectural historians, shop owners, landscape architects, and estates.

Ross is also known for his National Geographic Young Explorers project about   American Festivals.
